ATC's 7 and 8.

I am hosting a vampire ATC swap for a group on Swap-bot and I chose to do Interview with a Vampire but then I went to my partners page and that was not her favorite. So I made her a True Blood ATC as well. It was senders choice, but I thought I'd be nice and throw in the True Blood one too so that she would have one that she might like a lot more. I was pretty excited about how well these turned out, although I still need more practice. I just hope that my partners in these swaps are okay with my early things and I do hope I get better.

Some new projects I just finished.

I thought I'd share some of my new things I just made for some of my swap partners.

The flower pincushion jar was made for a partner who enjoys quilting, but since I have yet to send it off I will not reveal the lucky one who will receive it.

This box was sent off to mware from swap bot along with a journal. I decorated the box to liven it up some. It is a baby food container. I have so many of these containers and can't get my self to just toss them so I decorate them and send goodies in them. They are good for storing little things like beads and such.

This pincushion jar was made for WhoHistorynHomeMadeObsessed on swap-bot. She had on her profile that she did a little sewing and I was supposed to send her some things she collected so this was her skull thing and I also made her a owl and one of the baby food containers with an owl on it.

I really do enjoy making things for people and I hope that the things I make are enjoyed by the ones who receive them.

I got my crinkle blankets back in my Etsy Store!

I figured out that if I made them without the loops that I could make them again. I was so excited! So I have them back up and will be making more soon. I am also trying to decided if I want to make them customizable. That could be cool to do, but I will need to invest in some new materials to give people more choices.
Oh and the other day I sold one of my little dress crinkle toys to a guy that my husband works with. He was pleasantly surprised about how well it turned out. He was a biker guy so I made it from some material with tattoo like images that still looked girly. It did turn out cute and I should have taken a pic, but I didn't think about it. But in making that sale it made me very excited and makes me want to make more. Now I just need them to sale in my esty store. lol.

I got a great swap in today.

Boy did I need that to give me a smile on my face. I woke up and got an email saying that I couldn't sale some of my items in my etsy store. I was heart broken and am now trying to figure out how I can possibly get away with changing these items so that I can still sale them. I was so excited about these items and really looked forward to making more to sale. So to get a great swap in really helped my mood. So thanks you to Barbie Darbie at Swap Bot for my wonderful swap. She sent me 5 very cool tags. 10 postcards, a bunch of used stamps, 2 cards, and 1 very cute and unique notebook. I love it all!

The Inbetween- My Etsy Store

Last week I made my 7 month old a crinkle blanket and it was so easy to make that I decided to make more. I decided shapes would be fun to do so I made a couple in the shape of a dress and one in the shape of a moon. I even made one with a quilting block I had made for a quilt but didn't end up needing it. they turned out very cute so I am now selling them in my store.
I have also been making pincushion jars out of baby food jars. I was so excited to find something to do with the jars other than just tossing them.
